~ Malacca Night Zoo, Zoology Museum ~

sala n hye all!!!

i should be downloading several KISSM's questions right now but as usual, i ended up here....btw, i already cashed out my nuffnang cheque today and i was motivated to blog more....being a jobless person like me surely always craving for money right?....:)

oh ya...im gonna share about my experience went for a Night Zoo last Saturday. actually, it wasn't my first time went to a zoo at night. i'd been there before on the first day of its' launch during the past few years. i couldnt remember the exact date.

i went there last week together with my bro, sis-in-law and the two kiddos who are her niece and nephew.

Dania with her friend, ready for a Night Zoo walk

the ticket.

Adult (13years and above): RM 10
Children : RM5

Operation hour:
8.00pm-11.30pm (only on Friday, Saturday, eve of public holiday and school holidays)

another kiddo, Danish Darwisy on train, ready for a Night zoo ride.
we were advised to take a train ride instead of night walk due to safety there.

the feeling of night zoo is different from the day zoo as some of the animals namely wild cats, tigers, leopards and other animals are active at night.

im not sure whether it's a wild cat or baby tiger.yup, i have a bad memory.

It's called Kongkang. He asked me to bye2 the Kongkang there go the pictures.

we were about to go home as we were heading to the exit but suddenly my eyes were caught by a museum on my right and a signboard signalling an arrow to Zoology museum. i led them to the museum and was surprised by the things inside.
there are several preserved animals together with animals' breeding process and information of surrounding animals.

these are some of the preserved animals

this 1.3 tonne crocodile was found in Selangor and was preserved here in Malacca Zoology museum.

foetus of animals

that's all..

salam readers!!!
yesterday, i went for an outing but surprisingly, i didnt shop and go for movie which i used to do before...people said, shop!!shop!!shop!! until you drop but in my case, i eat, eat, and eat until i die only then i couldnt eat anymore...nope...im not dead yet but i could barely walk as i was loaded with food...i had to force myself eating as much as possible as i'd paid for it....i even loosed my belt so that i could eat more but i failed...now i realized and admitted another fact of myself that my tummy is sooo comeyl...:)
and i know for a fact that he did the cooking more if compared to me but it's still fair for he ate more than i did.

we need to practise, practise and practise so that our ABC looks more tempting next time

fruitss and veggiesss won out my heart the most

~malacca duck tour~

salam n hye readers...

let's quack with me around malacca historical city!!!!

There's a yellow kiosk of this Malaccan tour which stands beside Menara Taming Sari opposite Dataran Pahlawan.
This is an amphibious transport truck, developed by the United Stated during WWII, is definitely the most entertaining way to explore Melaka.

Although its Donald Duck-esque mascot is a little cheesy, this more or less one-hour journey will take you to visit all of Malacca’s historic sites in one go.

The tour guide is particularly entertaining as she doles out little details about Malacca’s attractions in a booming TV-show-announcer tone of voice.

an amphibian
as all in one land and sea tour!
first land-and-sea

- Operation Hours : 9am- 6pm
- Duration : 45-60 mins
- Tour subject to change due to weather condition without prior notice.
- The meeting point is at Pahlawan Taming Sari tower, there’s a duck tour kiosk

the route

The route would cover sites of interest such as Porta de Santiago (A' Famosa), Sultanate Palace, Independence Memorial Museum, Mahkota Parade and Pulau Melaka.

The Duck Tour will enter the Straits of Melaka from Floating Mosque (Masjid Selat) towards the Great Island (Pulau Besar)before entering back Banda Hilir at Melaka River.

~a night walk~

salam..

last nite, my bro and sis asked me for a night walk..i refused to join them at first as i ws not in d mood of outing...my mum supposed that i ws in no mood coz of i didnt have money...she started to look for her purse, scrutinizing it for a minute and came out with an amount...i refused to take the money (ank yg baik), responded her by saying that it's not financial matters..no mood at all...but eventually, i changed my mind...

we turned up at new-fresh look-Mahkota Parade...we just had a walk in 2 to 3 stores...they had actually planned for a karaoke...i told bro that i needed popcorn to entertain me while they were singing...still, i ws in no mood....so he bought it plus a milktea-honeydew-pearl drink for me...i put all in my large bag and acted innocently at the counter and managed to get in... relieved..hehe..

there, i ate and drank without stop, be in my own world, neglecting others...the room's ambience plus the songs by rock bands made me in no no mood still....suddenly my bro tuned up to romantics songs which i ws familiar with... i asked him to hand me one of the mics and started to duet with him....

then, i was d one who chose the next, next songs and i sang more compared to sis as she's not really into karaoke....the most was surely the bro as he paid for everythng..huhu..

next, on our way home, he drove me to hve a visit at malacca monorail station...

operation hour:
9.30a.m-10.00p.m
Monday - Sunday

the monorail station is just next to the river cruise

p/s: bro, i knw dats one of ur ways nk pjuk i psal hri tu kn..huhu..

~wif my beloved ones~

slm..hye all..:)
today dawned bright and clear as it doesnt seem to appear drizzling..i hope so for i wished to do pile of laundry..
just 2 days left....i have to spend most of my remaining minutes home wif all my beloved ones but unfortunately i couldnt make it by day since they are all away at work...so i just got the chance to have them around me by night...
yesterday, i deliberately didnt do my culinary during the day as i planned to ask them for dinner table outside...we went for ayam penyet.

while eating, i discovered some differences between ayam penyet in Malacca and the other one that i once ate in KL..
  • ayam penyet in Malacca is cheaper which is only RM5.80 if compared to KL, RM8.90 (if im not mistaken)
  • KL's is more crispy
  • KL's has 2 types of sambal but Malacca's has only one
  • KL's gune daun pisang while Malacca's just gune kertas minyak.
i found two kedai in my area and im going to try the other one someday in order to compare which is the best... i'd recommend it to u then...:)
