im currently at home...i dont want to brag bout being home again due to some reasons...so i would like to share some tips on working in group...
hmm....maybe im not the right person to come out with several tips on this. im not a counselor nor motivator to others...but most of the time im a motivator to myself...i rarely believe people's tips because i hold on to "different people have different needs so they r one who r responsible for deciding which will suit with theirs. the same goes to tips that im going to list below...they may not be applicable to all of you...but you may try some coz maybe they work on you.
in life, i learnt things that are new to me not only from people but also experiences. if you are about to ask me who is my best teacher, dont expect me to answer Mr. or Mrs...whateva people's name that came across your mind...rather, i would answer Experience is my best teacher..what makes it unique is that it doesnt have any genders.so dont scratch your head to put Mr. Mrs or puzzle yourself to use either He or She...
ok lets jump into the tips that i promise to share just now...
during almost 6 years of my studying, i've been packed with lots and lots of discussion that require me to work in group. while talking about group work, th first thing that you should bear in mind is that, different people have different abilities, levels as well as different views and understanding about certain things and issues.. individual differences is what makes each and every one of us unique. in the context of course that im majoring now, some people may have good command in the language.some people may not. some people may good at writing, a few may good at speaking, while the others mastering in the other two skills namely listening and reading. that's why teamwork requires us to help each other as we r actually complete one another. each and everyone in the group is complementary. in group, we acknowledge other people's differences indirectly right? so if you felt that you couldnt or dont have talent in doing something, seek for other people's help.
second, don't afraid to work more...this is becoz, you would feel the fruits and benefits as who did more works would gain more knowledge...believe me....
and what's more, if you do it sincerely, you wouldnt brag about your hardwork to others coz u believe that it would be acknowledged by the Almighty....
hurm..what's more, we should also always reflect upon ourself..even though we r good at certain things, we do have weaknesses in other things...lets improve ourselves..if you want to know whether you are qualified enough to be an English teacher, lets try my tip as simple as this..try go to the zoo and test whether you recognize and know the meaning of all the animals....dont shy to go to kinokuniya, popular, MPH or other bookstores to grab a picture dictionary book for u to use...lets improve ourselves...:)
